Our brain is an incredible organ, constantly growing and changing but it has one fatal flaw that changes everything in our biology.  Now what all it changes is information for another time, but for right now I want you to know this:  

Your brain's fatal flaw is that it cannot tell the difference between what's real and what you tell it is real.  But I don't want to just tell you, I want you to experience this yourself.  So before you read any further, follow the instructions on this short audio.....

  • What happened in your mouth?  
  • Did you feel your mouth puckering as that tart lemon juice hit your tongue?  
  • Did saliva form?

This may seem like a really simple exercise but think about the implications of it.  You commanded your brain to think about an imaginary lemon and your body reacted physiologically in exactly the same way as it would if that lemon had been real.  In other words YOU took control of your body and changed it in less than 40 seconds.  

Now here's the key to healthy longevity.  Diet and exercise play some part in it, but by far the biggest part of your health is the biology you create by the patterned commands you're giving to your body.

And you're ALWAYS creating biology except that now you're doing it unconsciously and what I want you to master is to do it consciously and on command.

Let me tell you about Jen.  She grew up with a father who was the mayor of their small town.  An important person in his small town - an important person in Jen's life.  But while the small town saw him as someone they could trust - Jen saw him as the abuser who would creep into her bed at night.  

She struggled with confidence, and started haring her body at an early age.  She started her first diet when she was 12.  She dieted, she'd lose weight, she'd gain it plus more.  Then a new diet would come along and she'd start the cycle all over again.  Every time she gave up on yet another diet she berated herself as being the weak-willed failure.   Her confidence plummeted.  The problem was that Jen 'knew' she wanted more out of life, she knew she wasn't living to her fullest potential.  Her marriage took strain, she got divorced.  She developed diabetes.  But whether she tried exercising, or following the Paelo diet, nothing seemed to work.  She felt hopeless because her belief was that the ONLY way she could correct her blood sugar levels was diet and exercise.  

We uncovered her fears ... she kept thinking:  

  • "I'm too fat to be healthy."  
  • "I'm so fat my diabetes is going to get worse."  
  • "I'm too fat, so it's my fault."  
  • "I'm never going to see my grandchildren."  
  • "I can't control my diabetes - it's going to land up killing me."  

Basically Jen was in a storm of shame, self-blame and felt hopeless and disempowered.  What she didn't realize was that she was creating her own negative biology.
