I don't have breakfast OR lunch (although sometimes around noon, I'll have a little something to tide me over, but not a full-scale meal).
And it's NOT true in my case that I gorge on unhealthy food in the afternoon because of how ravenous I've become. It's more a matter of being in a "zone" where I don't crave food.
There are nutritionalists who agree with me, such as David Levitsky, professor of nutrition at Cornell, and Mark Mattson, nutritionalist with the National Institute of Aging.
An obvious concern, however, is not getting enough nutrients. So I make sure I eat a wide variety of beneficial foods for my evening meal.
