I once spoke to a person who was a few weeks away on her Mind over Fatter journey who told me that she dish up her "normal" portions however she divided it between two plates. Then she ate the first plate and if she felt still hungry 20 minutes after finishing the first she would eat the second plate. If she didn't feel hungry she would leave the plate of food in the fridge in case she might feel like it later.
She said that most of the time she did not feel like the other plate of food at all!
